The Toddlers created sunflowers with playdough and sunflowers seeds. Some of the children counted the sunflowers seeds as they added them to their flowers while others buried them in the playdough, hiding them. Playdough increases fine motor strength and skills, as well as offers opportunities to increase their vocabulary. |
Feet Painting | After taking turns painting the bottom of eachother's feet, the Toddlers walked across the paper making footprints. After making their footprints the children stepped into a bucket of water, rinsing away the paint. Their footprints in-turn became the petals on some of our sunflowers. |
