Our sensory table was cold and icy this week just like the weather. We filled balloons up with water and left them outside overnight and discovered they turned into ice balls. We put these beautiful balls into our sensory table and explored the characteristics of ice.
The science table was transformed into a physics lab where the students could play a water xylophone and later in the week they were able to create musical instruments with a plethora everyday objects.
We enjoyed many books this week. Mr. Obregon came in to read to us! Dr. Gespass and Mr. A read to us! Even a fellow student read to us!
Mathematics is incorporated into our daily work time. This week we played dice games and counted everyday natural objects.
