Later in the week, we discussed the concept that some vehicles move in the air, some move in the water and some move on the ground. The children sorted the above list into these three categories. They noted that some vehicles can be placed in more that one category. During work time, we asked the children to attempt to draw a picture representing one of the many ways to move from here to there. They used books and props to help them as they transferred their ideas and visions onto paper.
