Dear Families,
I hope you are enjoying this crisp, beautiful fall day!
This past week, we celebrated Parents Day. We began our time together by viewing the following beautiful video, and reminded ourselves of our Central Idea: "Communites require essential elements in order to thrive." After viewing the video, we shared our thinking, our noticings, our wonderings and our feelings.

Using our central idea as a guide, we collaboratively dove into one of lines of inquiry with our parents, "Different types of communities that we belong to (multiple membership)." and took a look at what communities we belong to. Some of our sharing included, we belong to Boy Scouts, we belong to Princeton Ballet, we belong to Grade 2/3, and we belong to PJS! Next week, we will further our inquiry by asking ourselves what compents are necessary in order for each of these communities to thrive? What do each of them need?
I would like to thank Anke Goldschmidt for taking all of the wonderful photographs of Parents Day. It provides each of us insight into the learning that happens in Grade 2/3!
As always, if you have any thoughts, questions, or concerns, please contact me.
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Anne and the Grade 2/3 Team
